Here’s a little backstory on the Cancer World Map Tote. It was based from a Friendship Map that I created for my college friend group. We all turned 40 this year! We planned a girls trip and I knew I wanted to gift them with something meaningful and representative of our 20 year friendship.
I love a gift that creates an experience that can be revisited over and over again. The Friendship Map Tote included our designated hang out spots, memories and inside jokes. (Iverson was the pretend last name we gave ourselves. As in we call ourselves the Iversons. Like a family).

As I was finishing that up I knew that I wanted to create a cancer tote for my cancer friends. Part of being diagnosed with cancer is joining a club that you never wanted to join in the first place. However, even if you don’t want to be there, it’s comforting to know you’re not alone.

Many people have gone before you, and still more will follow after. We gain a sort of kinship with one another traveling down well-worn roads. When we stop to connect, we can reach out and help in countless ways.
If you’re a cancer survivor, I hope this tote meets you where you are and brings with it a feeling of comfort and maybe a smile too. You can grab one for yourself or someone you love in my shop. The tote is the perfect add-on with my guided cancer binder too!
